Had my conversation with Dr. Judd, most interesting fellow. Here are some of the items he mentioned.
1) The secret in any remedy is to know its liquid surface tension. Alcohol has 40 dynes, it being one of the lowest and most effective in treating diseases for it kills bacteria almost immediately. Grain alcohol is very good for this purpose. I told him about the purge and he mentioned the alcohol content being that used for the lobelia extraction was largely responsible for its effectiveness.
He was unaware of Clark's findings using propyl.
2) Anything that ends in ol in the ingredient or name contains alcohol.
3) Bar soap has 50 dynes which makes it effective in cleaning the teeth, mouth, nose, and throat.
4) Cepacol, used for abscesses is sold in Walgreen drug stores.
5) Avoid fluoride for it serves the same purpose as the plague.
